As all cities and towns become more and more alike, with house's all built by the same set of plans and all business owned by the same corporation who don't believe in originality or creativity, there are a few signs of a time when thinks was different. The Forsaken Buildings
Drive in to a small town today and what do you see? Wal-Mart, McDonalds and a Home Depot? There was a time when each business had an proud owner who cared about his customers and employees. A small gas station or grocery store was more that a place to make purchases, it was a part of the community.

The farm is the backbone of America and Barns are the backbone of the farm. These structures never seem to get the maintenance that deserve. Slowly they crumble back into the Earth. In the future these will be replaced by some prefab, Menards purchased eyesore. Let's celebrate these American rural wonders with these wonderful pictures!
